Organizer SMS Command Access

How authorized event Organizers consent to use Guestcount's SMS command interface.

What the program is

Guestcount is event-guestlist software used by Organizers (promoters, venues, and brands) to manage RSVPs and door check-in. Authorized Organizers may use SMS to read and update their organization's own event data: the Organizer texts commands to their organization's dedicated Guestcount number and receives direct responses or confirmations. Access is limited to mobile numbers the organization authorizes. This program is not used for marketing or unsolicited messaging.

How to enable it

SMS command access is enabled from your Guestcount dashboard, not here. Sign in and go to Settings → Messaging, then verify your mobile number with a one-time code to turn on SMS commands for your organization. Access is limited to numbers your organization authorizes.

By enabling SMS commands, you agree to receive SMS responses and confirmations from Guestcount related to commands you send for your organization's events. Program details

  • Message types: responses to Organizer commands, guest-list updates, check-in information, and confirmations of requested changes.
  • Frequency: recurring; message frequency varies based on the number of commands the Organizer sends.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply, as charged by the Organizer’s carrier.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@guestcount.com.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to disable SMS command access for that number. The Organizer receives a confirmation and no further messages unless access is reactivated.

Privacy

Mobile numbers collected for Organizer SMS command access are used only to authenticate authorized users and deliver requested command responses and confirmations. Guestcount does not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
