SMS Program & Opt-In
How guests consent to receive text messages from Guestcount.
What the program is
Guestcount is event-guestlist software used by Organizers (promoters, venues, and brands) to manage RSVPs and door check-in. When a guest RSVPs to an event on a Guestcount page, they enter their mobile number and explicitly consent to receive event-related SMS. Consent is collected per guest at the point of RSVP, never purchased, never imported without the guest's own action.
The opt-in guests see
This is the exact opt-in shown on every event RSVP page. The disclosure sits at the point of opt-in, directly tied to the button that submits the number:

Program details
- Message types: a one-time verification code, RSVP confirmation, day-of event reminders, and updates from the event Organizer.
- Frequency: recurring; approximately 5 messages per event the guest RSVPs to.
- Cost:message and data rates may apply, charged by the guest's carrier.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@guestcount.com.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. The guest receives a single confirmation and no further messages.
Privacy
Mobile numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages described above. Guestcount does not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
