SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text messages sent through Guestcount LLC ("Guestcount", "we"). They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The program

Guestcount is event-guestlist software used by Organizers (promoters, venues, and brands) to manage RSVPs and door check-in. When you submit your mobile number on a Guestcount RSVP or guestlist page, you consent to receive event-related SMS from Guestcount on the Organizer's behalf for that event. Consent is collected per guest at the point of RSVP. It is never purchased and never imported without your own action.

Terms

• Messages you'll receive. A one-time verification code, RSVP confirmation, day-of event reminders, event changes or cancellations, door check-in, and event updates. When you first sign up, we send a one-time confirmation that tells you how to opt out (reply STOP). These are event-related (transactional) messages.
• Marketing SMS. Guestcount does not send its own marketing by SMS. If you separately and expressly opt in, an Organizer may send you promotional SMS — including invitations to its future events — through Guestcount on its behalf, and the Organizer chooses who receives them. Where an Organizer instead uses its own tools to send marketing SMS (for example, after exporting its contacts), it separately confirms your enrollment before sending. Marketing SMS is never a condition of RSVP or entry, and you can reply STOP at any time.
• Frequency. Recurring. Frequency varies by event and by the Organizer's communications, typically up to about 5 messages per event you RSVP to.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless plan and charged by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed.
• Opt out. Reply STOP to any Guestcount message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP, or email support@guestcount.com, for help.
• No marketing resale. Mobile numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages described here. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. If you opt in to a specific Organizer's marketing, we provide your mobile number and consent record to that Organizer so it can send you the marketing you requested; we do not otherwise share your number or SMS consent.
